Should kids know everything that is horrible in the world, with details? Or should kids live in a perfect place with no knowledge of the real world, which can be cruel and unforbidding? The choice may be to hard for people like us to decide, but parents always know what is best for thair kids. This is why parents, and not teachers, should decide what is and isn't censored for their kids.

One reason parents should decide what kids see and what is and is not censored for them is that if teachers chose what kids see, it may seem unreal to them. If kids think that knowledge they learn from teachers is fake, they may be confused, or they might just believe something they hear from their friends. Neither of these possibilities are good for the kid, so that is why parents should chose what their kids see.

Another reason that parents should choose what their kids watch or read is that parents understand their kid(s) more than anyone else. In this case, they know their kid's mental and emotional feelings, so they will know when the kids are ready to learn about, for example, drugs. Also, based on their own childhood experiences, they can choose when their kid is reedy to read a certain book or see a certain movie. For example, if the parent saw Jaws when they were 9, they would probably make the decision that their kid should not see it until they were 16.

Finally, the reason parents should choose what their kids know about the real world is that parents want what is best for their kids. Parents can make the correct decisions for their kids based on good judgment, not a textbook. Parents really care for their kids, so that is why they would make the correct decision.

Ultimately, we cannot make the choice of what acid sees in the world. We do not know enough about the kid to make this decision. This is why parents, not teachers or any other adults, should chose what is and is not censored for their kid(s).
